Real Madrid have signed Serbia forward Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt, the LaLiga club have confirmed.A statement on Los Blancos‘ website announced the capture of ‘one of the great sensations of European football’, who scored 27 goals in all competitions in 2018/19.“Real Madrid CF and Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to the transfer of player Luka Jovic, pending the medical examination,” the statement read.“The player remains linked to the club during the next six seasons, until June 30, 2025.”Eintracht earlier posted on Twitter to bid farewell to the 21-year-old.Real’s statement continued: “A Powerful, technical footballer and great finisher, he manages perfectly with both legs and stands out for his excellent definition ability.“Despite his youth, he has experience at the highest European level, as he showed in the last Europa League, in which he scored 10 goals and led his team to the semifinals. “In addition, he has won titles in Serbia, Portugal and Germany, the three countries in which he has played so far.”Jovic only penned permanent terms with Eintracht in April, having initially joined the Bundesliga club on loan in June 2017. He netted nine goals in his debut season, before his breakthrough 2018/19 campaign saw Jovic net 27 times to help fired Eintracht into the Europa League semi-finals.
