Liverpool are rumoured to want to sign Werner sooner rather than later and had scouts watch him score twice against Borussia Monchengladbach in December. But German newspaper Bild are reporting that Leipzig are willing to double his wages in an effort to get him to stay. The new deal would see him earn 5.2million a year while there will also be a 60million release clause if he opts to sign.
