The victory was the club’s seventh consecutive London derby triumph, their second longest run of victories in capital contests.Tottenham’s biggest run is eight, which they recorded between October 1950 and August 1951, under the legendary Arthur Rowe.Sadly for Spurs, though, the longest run of consecutive London derby wins is held by fierce rivals Arsenal, who won nine in a row between April 1988 and February 1989, helping them on the way to the First Division title.
